About the Course
CHCCS019: Recognise and Respond to Crisis Situations
A one-day course that provides participants with the knowledge and skills to recognise a person whom may be suffering a mental health crisis, how to safely respond, and more importantly, how to recognise a danger, and keep the situation safe.
The course, will include teaching, interactive group discussions, videos, and realistic hands on scenarios.
- Courses are conducted by Registered Paramedics that have extensive experience in responding to mental crisis situations.
Highlands First Aid is a licensed training partner of Corporate Training Solutions, RTO ID 4256.
All accredited courses are offered by Corporate Training Solutions and delivered by Highlands First Aid.

- Enrol on the course via the government portal.
Unless Highlands First Aid receives confirmation that you have enrolled via the government portal, you may not attend the course.

How to enrol
After you buy your ticket, you’ll receive a course information email. The email contains a link to the government enrolment portal. If you don’t take this next step, you may not attend the course.
The course information email also contains:
- information about your unique student identifier (USI), which you need to enrol
- a pre-course survey.
